Thank you for answer and help :) Sorry to tell you, I doesn't work for me. I applied your patch from within /usr/src/linux with patch -p1 < sleep_G3.diff and got a success-message. After compiling with my old .config my ibook didn't awake after reopening the lid. I repeated that procedure now three times :( What else could be the reason? 2.4.20-ben6 works in this regard.
