I have a bunch of the Promise TX2 Ultra cards working with Debian. They work REALLY well and offer quite a performance boost. However, the only way I could get them working is after compiling my own kernel... I never tried using one with my Mac, but have had great luck on my x86 systems... I have tried them with the 2.4.19 and 2.4.20 kernels, and both work great. -- :wq! Matthew Daubenspeck http://www.oddprocess.org
