1) Upgrade to the (from unstable) 2.6.7 kernel package. 2) don't use ide-scsi, but play from the /dev/hdb or whatver directly. Should be ok with xine, at least it is here on both my ibook and my pegasos. If not, then you should fill a bug report. Friendly, Sven Luther
