Hello list, I had netatalk between my Linux file server and a Mac OS X client working great when everything was going through an ethernet switch (all CAT5, etc.). However, now that we upgrade to a mixed network using both wired and wireless, the client is not able to talk to the server any more.
The server is still on the wired switch and the client is now on the wireless router. The router and switch are connected using the uplink port on the switch. This works great for sharing the internet connection, nfs from a Linux client and even samba from the Mac OS X client. But mounting fileshares or printing via netatalk no longer work. The file server is running Debian Sarge and the wireless router is a Netgear WGR614. Does anyone have some suggestions of what might cause this? TIA, Jacob
