qemu wants the i386 one.
You should get qemu-gnemul from Bellard's page, put it in /usr/gnemul
and then copy missing libraries from debian-x86 (remember to set the
right parameters to x86 ldconfig, or you'll break your entire linuxbox).

I've tried one year ago (or more) and skype didn't work, i was able to
run only acroread (but i've never used it :) ).
