There is actually also a bug report about that: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=343837 A link to /usr/lib/j2sdk1.5-ibm/jre/bin/libjavaplugin_oji.so in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins or /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins makes the plugin available to mozilla and firefox. For me, the plugin seems to work with mozilla [1.7.12-1], but firefox [1.5.dfsg-3] crashes upon accessing a page with an applet. This is on Debian unstable.
