Hi list: I'm trying to make work a "Quickcam Express" under linux-2.6.15 + qc-usb-source-0.6.3-1 on a powerbook 12" with a nvidia card.
Under powerpc the module 'quickcam' gets built and modprobed ok (kernel has support for v4L), the camera is recognized by the kernel and by programs like xawtv and gnomemeeting, but... xawtv shows a black screen meanwhile gnomemeeting shows a green screen, no images are shown in those applications. Following exactly the same procedure on a x86 laptop makes the camera work under xawtv and gnomemeeting without a glitch. This x86-laptop has an intel graphics-card.
