Hi Brian, no offense ment, but I think a good idea is to read the installation manual. I've done Debian installations on several machines, Oldworlds, mostly, and from what I read so far I think that installing Debian on a Newworld machine such as yours should be pretty straight forward. Just remember that in case you want to (re)install OS X, too, you should install it first. Being on a single disk means that you have to choose a partitioning scheme in OS X that leaves enough space for Debian. But AFAIK even this is explained in the manuals. Of course having a 2nd machine with a running network connection to read the manual online is a damn good thing, if there isn't such a machine you should go through the manual and printout the parts that are usefull for you and your configuration.
