I succeded in installing Ubuntu with bootx and I had to copy vmlinux and initrd.img on the MacOS9 partition at the end of the installation. I re-tryied the floppies but still did not work. I have 8 old G3, I'll try the Debian installer on one of those... but with bootx, not with quik.
