You're absolutely right! In fact, only compiling i386 binaries, I had no idea. :) But, I cannot get any kernel to boot that is not stock. I tried the latest kernel, but after failed attempts, downloaded the debian kernal and config that ships with install. I recompiled that kernel, but it still failed to load. Here's an example: Welcome to quik. mate is good. Debian GNU/Linux PowerPC (sarge)chosen/bootargs = boot: linux-test initrd imagename = /boot/initrd.img-2.6.8-powerpc, mem_size: 1403724 initrd_start: |Starting at 48510005, , 7237632 DEFAULT CATCH!, code=FFF00400 at %SRR0: 48510004 %SRR1: 40003070 I have no idea where to go with this. Any suggestions? The default boot kernel looks like this: boot: Linux initrd imagename = /boot/initrd.img-2.6.8-powerpc, mem_size: 3026892 initrd_start: \Starting at 510000, , 8859648 no active packageopening display /[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ATY,[EMAIL PROTECTED] ok [etc]
