Hi . We tried floppy booting several times as the follwing, but failed. Could you please check our works ?
1. We downloaded the floppy image from the below sites. http://people.debian.org/~luther/d-i/images/daily/powerpc/floppy/ http://people.debian.org/~luther/d-i/images/2006-03-20/powerpc/floppy/ http://people.debian.org/~luther/d-i/images/2006-03-19/powerpc/floppy/ http://www.debian.org/ports/powerpc/inst/chrp 2. We made a floppy boot diskette using the following message. dd if=filename of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 conv=sync ; sync 3. We tried booting as the following. RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 RS/6000 LOAD: Waiting 60 seconds for Spanning Tree LOAD:BOOTP: do-BOOTP-req failed : 1 LOAD:BOOTP: do-BOOTP-req failed : 2 BOOTP S = 9 4.
