We tried floppy booting several times as the follwing, but failed.
Could you please check our works ?


1. We downloaded the floppy image from the below sites.

2. We made a floppy boot diskette using the following message.

dd if=filename of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 conv=sync ; sync

3. We tried booting as the following.

LOAD: Waiting 60 seconds for Spanning Tree
LOAD:BOOTP: do-BOOTP-req failed : 1
LOAD:BOOTP: do-BOOTP-req failed : 2
BOOTP S = 9

4. On OF we tried to boot.

0 > boot floopy
 ok

hi

as a temporary workaround to your problem, i suggest you to create a 
boot floppy to boot your system from the HDD, like i did for my PReP 
7043/140.
