Sorry for joining in very late. I'm just getting up to date on PowerPC.

I have a perfectly fine iBook G3 that is only missing its battery. I plan on doing something like you did: check the debian-installer. BTW, please *post* your installation reports so that we can link them to the release certification page. I want to help with this arch as much as I can. > I can get some sounds back by doing: > # alsa unload ; modprobe snd-powermac > > Is the issue already known? Could anyone point me to the relevant bug > reports in such case? Yes, it is known. I have not reported this earlier because I usually throw away the kernels that come with Debian and compile my own kernels. This is also the solution that I proposed to rhonda (Gerfried Fuchs) when we were chatting some days ago. Please, don't forget to also install popularity contest and to update the Debian release certification for lenny on http://wiki.debian.org/ Regards, Rogério Brito. -- Rogério Brito : [EMAIL PROTECTED],ime.usp}.br : GPG key 1024D/7C2CAEB8 http://www.ime.usp.br/~rbrito : http://meusite.mackenzie.com.br/rbrito Projects: algorithms.berlios.de : lame.sf.net : vrms.alioth.debian.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
