There is a PostgreSQL server available in Debian, just an apt-get away. The "Plus Advanced Server" thing seems to be a proprietary product; this would mean that there is no source, and thus, that it is not possible to run this on a PowerPC machine. You could ask EnterpriseDB whether they'd be willing to provide it, but I doubt they are. -- The biometric identification system at the gates of the CIA headquarters works because there's a guard with a large gun making sure no one is trying to fool the system. http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2009/01/biometrics.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
