Hello, I'll resume what I've gotten from my debugging session today.
It happens in cdebconf. I could only reproduce the failure inside of the installer and not on the regular system. To reproduce it I unpacked the initrd and did a chroot for it, after just calling 'debconf' is enough to reproduce it. Cheers, -- Otavio Salvador O.S.
