It's similar to a Ubuntu install but not exactly the same. That said, it's pretty straightforward and the XFCE/LXDE combo is quite nice. There's been some work with Ubuntu and XFCE/LXDE on the x86 architecture in the way of the U-Lite and Lubuntu projects but they're both still in beta.
