My solution to the problem was to add a line containing:
windfarm_core
to /etc/modules.
Thanks - that seems to be working for me.
I was particularly concerned about the fan not doing its job since the
max temperature around here is around 33 deg C every day (Darwin,
northern Australia). We don't do winter :-)
