Hi All
I have a YDL PowerStation that I used with YDL 6.1/6.2 since I purchased it
from Fixstars. I have now decided to move to Debian Squeeze as YDL is no
longer supported.
I installed a default Debian system using the 6.0.1a netinst image. The
install went fine except yaboot failed to install which I subsequently
installed manually.
On booting into X (gdm/gnome) colours appear to be inverted i.e. blue
displays as pink and pink as blue etc. Has anyone experienced this colour
issue before and is there a solution?
The PowerStation is a stock config with the ATI X1650.
Hi Nello
a couple of days ago i saw the same machine (nice but very noisy)
It certainly is a fabulous machine but is a bit noisy alright - I've
been using it for the past two years as my desktop so I've gotten used
to it ....or maybe I'm going deaf ;-).
Sometimes the fans can spin up to full speed without warning - it's
frightened the living daylights out of my wife once or twice ;-)
Pat
running an up to date cruxppc 64bit.
The stock videocard was replaced by a FireGL V5600 and i can say that
gradient colors was correct but instead 3d was broken with an error
like this:
IRQ's not enabled, falling back to busy waits: 2 0
Anyway the colors were correct thus i guess you only need to update your debian.
cheers,
Nello
