Regarding the old 32 bit powerpc-utils, now pmac-utils, I am no

package rename, and uploaded pmac-utils to unstable in March of
2016. For reasons not apparent to me, it was removed from testing in
November that year.
Well, I added myself to uploaders and did some updating (and
renaming) with your consent, I didn't realise you thought I
was taking over maintainership entirely. ;)
Yep, rereading the last .changes I realized it wasn't a change or
addition of maintainership.
We had discussed that option before, must have got me confused.
No idea how I missed the FTBFS that caused removal though. Maybe the
package rename?
While I still have hardware that this package is relevant for, I'd have
to upgrade from jessie to unstable to continue supporting the package.
Getting jessie to run was enough of a mission, and is only limping along
after X related updates last year - installing unstable failed outright
when I tried a little over two years ago. Happy to help testing patches,
but this is best taken over by a fresh team.
Cheers,
Michael
Either way, I also have no idea why it ended up removed from the
archive, as I hadn't actually been watching. That's curious.
