That's odd, normally firmware files should get removed from a package. This might be a bug. In any case, you can get the older firmware package from snapshot.debian.org: # wget http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20190823T154143Z/pool/non-free/f/firmware-nonfree/firmware-amd-graphics_20190114-2_all.deb # apt install ./firmware-amd-graphics_20190114-2_all.deb PS: Please keep the list CC'ed.
