That makes me think we need to patch this snippet out of printconf…
Anyway, for the printer under concern:

This printer is known to the foomatic database since its 20080211 snapshot and
is still here, recommending the hplip driver, so I am hereby closing this bug
as "fixed in 20110520-1", as a ("mostly") working driver is available for this
printer:
