I guess that the patch could be applied to the current version, as an alternative to waiting for the latest upstream to propagate. AFAIU, in the current 3.12.6-3, if one removes ~/.hplip, the first execution of hp-toolbox will succeed (and write a latest_available_version = 3.12.10a Public Release... in ~/.hplip/hplip.conf), but the next execution will then fail. I'm tempted to raising the severity to important. Until upstream's current version changes to a pure digit-based version, users may experience the same problem :-/ What do you think ? Hope this helps. Best regards, -- Olivier BERGER (OpenPGP: 4096R/7C5BB6A5) http://www.olivierberger.com/weblog/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
