The fix to this bug has been in experimental for some time, but has not been
accepted into unstable / testing. Does that mean this bug won't be in wheezy?
That would be very unfortunate for all the people who use these devices.

What is the process for nominating this package as an exception to the freeze?
Is this the sort of thing that can be fixed in stable after the release? How do
we prevent breaking everyone's devices when they upgrade from squeeze to wheezy?
