As described in my blogpost (which wasn't intended as a rant, but more as a call for enlightment) I tried allready to trace the problem down, but was at a point where I got stuck. Looking again into it today in the morning I stumbled upon LP #1054495[1] with an attached debdiff[2], which seems worth to give a try. Maybe I'll find time today to try that patch.
