When I cancel a job with lprm, it doesn't go away until I restart
cups. Here's a transcript:

The printer is a HP PSC 2710. I'm not totally sure the job has gone
away even after restarting cups, because the printer itself shows a
"printing" icon on the small LCD display, and I often also must cancel
the job with the physical "cancel" button on the printer control
panel.
