Hello. That was a long time ago. I probably ought to have closed or done something with that bug. I did trace the "unknown" message to missing cases in a switch statement, and submitted a patch. Unstream applied a modified patch. Later versions of cups did not report that error, but I am not sure why or even when it went away. Sorry, busy here and no time to investigate :-( I am currently running testing which has cups-common version 1.6.3-1. However, the last time I tried to print, a new problem has come up. That is corruption after the first page. I have submitted a bug report for that. So AFAIK, the general bug has gone away, but a new specific bug, presumbly a problem with the ppp config has appeared for my particular HL1200 Brother laser. Must find time to check and look into it further. Sorry not to provide a better answer... ael -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
