Package: cups-core-drivers Version: 1.7.1-3 Severity: normal Hi,
following the cups split, I removed the cups package and only kept the -core ones. I have a fairly common setup, my printer is an ipp Brother one, which I think use PS (or PCL) language (Brother HL-5250DN). Now, when trying to print or in the printer properies I get an error saying /var/lib/cups/commandtops file is missing. If PS-based printing is not in the -core package, I have to admit I'm not sure what belongs there and who is it useful for.
