Package: cups
Version: 1.4.4-7+squeeze1
Severity: important
cupsd seems to crash with SIGSEGV on me every day, seems related to some
job it doesn't like, as the crash time corresponds to the start of an
ipp process for that job. Does this look like a known issue (possibly
fixed in sid)?

The dbus code has changed quite a lot since Squeeze and there are still
crashes (and fixes for them) being fixed; 1.7.1-6 that I just uploaded
has two of such fixes. I'm therefore marking this bug as fixed in the
current version in unstable, although I think this bug is most probably
still present in Squeeze.

This has been applied in 1.5.0-6 and is therefore in wheezy+.

Well, this would become enabled given --enable-printfs, which has a
wider impact. I don't currently intend to patch this.
