Well, I thought it did :-( But I have now done some more testing on another machine (with the same printer) and it sometime failed with unidir alone. Maybe I did have finger trouble before ... Anyway I have now tested a few times with just no-reattach, and it has worked every time. So it seems that just no-reattach does the trick. I have attached a trivial patch, but it does not have a bug URI in the comment.
