Hi,
I installed Debian-7.8-i386 with GNOME on my system a couple of days back.
My Canon PIXMA MG2470 printer, which works seamlessly under Windows XP
SP3, does not get added. Running the Add Printer utility gets me a
window that hints that my printer was found, but then the window
vanishes after a few seconds. This is what I get in /var/log/messages :

Can anyone please tell me how to configure the printer ? Thanks.
