printers.conf(5) at https://www.cups.org/documentation.php/doc-2.0/man-printers.conf.html has none of the content for directives seen in previous manuals. It also says: Description The printers.conf file defines the local printers that are available. It is normally located in the /etc/cups directory and is maintained by the cupsd(8) program. This file is not intended to be edited or managed manually. Notes The name, location, and format of this file are an implementation detail that will change in future releases of CUPS. You could take the issue upstream (where it belongs) but a successful outcome is doubtful. Regards, Brian. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
