--- Begin Message ---Package: cups-filters Version: 1.0.83-2+b1 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch upstream Although pdfAutorotate was introduced in cups-filters 1.0.25 it is not documented anywhere. I would suggest the README is as good a place as any. My suggestion is: A PDF file containing pages with page width greater than page height (a landscape page) has such pages automatically rotated anticlockwise by 90 degrees. To turn off the feature on a job-for-job basis use lp -d <print_queue_name> -o nopdfAutorotate <document> On a per queue basis use -o nopdfAutorotate as an option to lpadmin. Note that the 'landscape' and 'orientation-requested=4' options of CUPS take precedence and are applied before 'pdfAutorotate' or 'nopdfAutorotate'. (BTW. It is noticable that portrait/landscape bug reports when printing from applications have reduced to zero since the introduction of pdfAutorotate. It is also worth remarking that I think it is the only way of printing a PDF with mixed orientation pages). Regards, Brian.

This especially prevents cups-browsed hanging on shutdown (Closes: #832637). - Added support for MuPDF as PDF renderer. MuPDF is a lightweight renderer especially interesting for mobile devices. - cups-browsed: Fixed several memory leaks, especially when using IPP requests and DNS-SD TXT record look-ups. [ Till Kamppeter ] * Update debian/copyright and added the new upstream files to the appropriate binary packages * Added rules to AppArmor profile to allow cups-browsed to do its debug log and to access PPDs for saving options.
