Dear maintainers & security folks, The 9.26a~dfsg-0+deb9u3 update has broken printing of PDFs on a number of systems that we maintain. The PDF files are printed simply using "lp -d$printer foo.pdf". This results in the filters failing and the job getting stopped. The relevant portions of the CUPS error_log are: D [13/May/2019:14:39:43 +0100] [Job 54554] Options from the PPD file: D [13/May/2019:14:39:43 +0100] [Job 54554] ================================================ D [13/May/2019:14:39:43 +0100] [Job 54554] File: <STDIN> D [13/May/2019:14:39:43 +0100] [Job 54554] ================================================ D [13/May/2019:14:39:43 +0100] [Job 54554] Filetype: PDF D [13/May/2019:14:39:43 +0100] [Job 54554] Storing temporary files in /var/spool/cups/tmp D [13/May/2019:14:39:43 +0100] [Job 54554] PID 24463 (/usr/lib/cups/filter/pdftopdf) exited with no errors.
