Package: cups-filters
Version: 1.0.61-5+deb8u3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Printing intermittenly fails with the following postscript error: "ERROR:
typecheck OFFENDING COMMAND: know"
I've found the following Ubuntu bug report which also contains a temporary fix
for this issue:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups-filters/+bug/998087

The issue is fixed by giving the following command as root: lpadmin -p hp_m506x
-o pdftops-renderer-default=pdftops

In Wheezy (oldstable) this issue did not exist, and also in an older Ubuntu
version. I figured this bug made it back again into this package.
