Hi,
There is no such thing as an official channel for Debian as
such. However, for your information, the de facto one is #debian on
irc.debian.org which happens to point to irc.freenode.org. The same
network also hosts #debian-it for Italiano speakers. But by all means,
there's no one stopping you creating a #debian channel on your
favourite network.
