why not just take a copy of devotee, run it from a different address, and hack it so that it accepts any validly signed vote as long as the signing key is in one of the GPG public key servers. that lets anyone vote in a poll. it also lets "clever" people with more than one key vote more than once....but so what, it's only an informal poll. oh, and toss out anything to do with quorums (quick hack - make quorum always equal to 1). craig ps: some polls should be for DDs only (e.g. gauging DD opinions), and some should be open (e.g. gauging user opinions). depends on the poll. -- craig sanders <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (part time cyborg) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
