Another person who wrote him privately was me. Not a Canonical employee, either. I wrote him privately (as it would have been off-topic here) trying to explain about constructive list discussion. I guess that he wasn't interested. He is still free to post our entire private mail exchange to [email protected], where it is on topic to discuss it, and I've already invited him to do so.
