This is a known issue due to some problems with the daily builds of debian-installer. Hopefully these will be fixed in time for the next scheduled weekly build (which is next Monday. In the mean time, please use either official Etch images, or (older) daily built images. Sorry for any inconvenience. Cheers, FJP
