Hi Lars, I think that your answer does not reflect well my proposition, which I quote here: … “create a dedicated mailing list for DEP-5? I volunteer for the mailman administration, and for taking the responsibility that no major changes are discussed there instead of on debian-project.” I fully agree that the core of the discussion has to be on a high-profile mailing list. But for the details, I think that peer-review and open discussions are very important. Following the discussions can be tedious, but I volunteer to keep a track as I have been doing since the DEP process has started.
