The problem is that a Debian derivative may have different packages or at least different versions of packages, with different dependencies than those in Debian proper which means that solutions that apply to Debian itself don't always apply to derivatives, and vice-versa. In a related note, debian-project's stated purpose is "Discussion about non-technical topics related to the Debian Project", which looking for packages doesn't really fit. You might find one of the more user-oriented lists more appropriate. Regards, Adam -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
