Kickstarter exists because one-to-one payment models do NOT work for
many project orientated, singular work items. Grouping many individuals
investments together requires infrastructure, planning and visibility
but are effective ways to hire said contractors when done right.

Debian's invitations DO lack visibility. At least here.
