we do have reserves at SPI; it's why SPI feels comfortable signing hotel and venue contracts against "commited donations" > how did we manage to survive those last >25y? because, thankfully, the donations do come through for DebConf and because, historically, HPE and Bytemark have donated a lot of hardware (thanks HPE and Bdale!), no ... but this is no longer the case -- Luca Filipozzi
