Hi everybody,

though not really sure, I think all that remains for me to say is that I am proud to have served the Debian project in the now called DFSG team for more than a decade. I started as an FTP assistant in 2013 and became FTP Master in 2017. Thanks a lot to Chris for doing my delegation! Of course also thanks a lot to the rest of the team at that time, who gave me a good training and prepared me for this job. I have done my best to let Debian keep the promises of the DFSG and the Debian Social Contract.

Hi,

I'd like to thank especially Thorsten, but also the rest of the ftp team for the tremendous amount of work they did over the years. I can only assume how draining a review for a complex NEW package might be.

Taking care of the various point releases is also a huge responsibility,
which I am also very grateful for.

I hope the former ftp team can (finally) take a step back and enjoy their well-deserved free time :)

best,

werdahias
