rust" related bugs in Ubuntu made us switch to Debian completely.
Please don't integrate this stuff into Debian now, or at least make it a
separate distro or add a flag in the installer, so I can continue to have the
normal properly working Debian on the systems I care about.

Hi,
Having the package in Debian is different from having it being the
default. I'm very much for having it available, for anyone to try it.
Though it's probably too early to switch the default indeed.
