Well, according to the code, it is normal. It does not really mean
minidom from the standard xml modules, but an abstraction level
called FtMiniDom which wraps xml calls (see Ft/Xml/Domlette.y)
using export BETA_DOMLETTE=1 will force the use of cDomlette, but
it is still beta.
