I have just pushed to salsa a possible fix, tested on x86_64 and i386.
Why did you revert the autopkgtest-pkg-pybuild change?
You need that for non-trivial autopkgtests to have the package migrate in less
than 20 days.
Apparently that change causes some test failure during build.
Reintroducing it would require also additional changes to the package.
If that is OK for you I will proceed with the update on salsa
The state of the package in git looks good now.
I kindly ask one of the uploaders or a DD member of the Debian Python Team to
upload.
I'm willing to sponsor the upload after the autopkgtest-pkg-pybuild change is
reinstated.
Otherwise someone else will need to do the upload.
Thanks Bas
Please set the distribution to unstable if you want me to sponsor the upload,
and ping me by email.
After the upload you'll also need to file an unblock request (with reportbug)
to have the package migrate in less than 20 days.
Kind Regards,
Bas
