Control: retitle -1 ITA: pytoolconfig -- Python Tool Configuration Library Control: owner -1 !
Hi, I intend to adopt pytoolconfig. The package is a dependency of python3-rope, which in turn is used by Spyder and by the rope plugin for python-lsp-server, so I would like to keep it in good shape. I will keep it under the Debian Python Team umbrella and add myself to Uploaders. I already look after dh-virtualenv in the team repository, and I have requested access to the python-team group on Salsa. As a first upload I intend to: * add myself to Uploaders (Closes: #1093665), which also fixes the lintian error no-human-maintainers * release the pending commit on Salsa (debian/upstream/metadata) * follow #1149800 in fsspec, which is getting pytoolconfig removed from testing on 16 November, and help with it if needed I checked that the upstream test suite passes with Python 3.14. I am not a Debian Developer yet, so I will need a sponsor for the upload. Thanks to Boyuan Yang for the previous work on this package, and to Alexandre Detiste for the team uploads.
