Subject: distributed-net-pproxy cannot execute binary file on Debian-Sparc
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Package: distributed-net-pproxy
  Version: 319c-6

When attempting to call the distributed-net-pproxy,
returns "cannote execute binary file".
 Here is a transcript:

# distributed-net-pproxy -?
bash: /usr/bin/distributed-net-pproxy: cannot execute
binary file

I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.0, kernel 2.2.20 and
libc6 2.2.5 on a SPARCstation 5 with 160 megabytes of
RAM. Installation was "apt-get install
distributed-net-pproxy" and the install questions all
went fine. The daemon died with no message, had to
call the command from the prompt to find problem.

Thanks,
Matt Ray

distributed-net-pproxy has been removed from Debian. It has not been
maintained and it was out of date so severly that it didn't properly
work anymore.
