Unfortunately the lmodern package currently in unstable contains the fonts in cork encoding. Since the lmodern package is currently orphaned is there perhaps some sort of workaround, like regenerating the .tfm files somehow? Thank you, Kostantinos Koukopoulos PS. It was indeed the case that I had installed a newer CONTEXT distribution=20 in /usr/local/share/texmf, as Frank K=FCster and Ralf Stubner had suspected= =2E =20 After many failed experiments I ended up deleting the=20 whole /usr/local/share/texmf tree. Thinking that all traces of the newer=20 CONTEXT were gone I concluded that the errors regarding the fonts were=20 because of the debian packages. It turns out that there were some format=20 files from my experiments lying around in ~/.texmf-var/web2c that I had not= =20 deleted. Again thank you, and sorry for the misunderstanding!
