The 0.9.3.dfsg.1-2 page reads identically:
-rfbauth passwd-file
use authentication on RFB protocol (use storepasswd to
create a password file)
I think this is a typo. It should read:
-rfbauth passwd-file
Use authentication on RFB protocol. Use option
"-storepasswd FILE" to create a password file.
