Package: kbiff
Version: 3.8-1
Severity: important
Since the last kbiff upgrade to 3.8.1, i'm unable to login to POP3 using
plain non-encrypted USER/PASS authentication. From what i gather
looking at the POP3 server logs, kbiff seems to always try APOP
authentication instead. However, my mail host (and many others) doesn't
yet support APOP so we're stuck with plain USER/PASS which seems to be
broken in kbiff right now.
